Hello Grace Point family!
I hope you are doing well and that The Lord continues to unite and guide you in his ways.
Our time in India has been amazing! These past three weeks have been full of the Lord's love and power.
For the last three weeks our team has been living near the village of Bhimavaram in the state of Andhrea Pradesh. We have adjusted and transitioned to the culture smoothly and we know it is due to prayers and the Lord's grace.
Six days a week we have ministry. We head out in the afternoon and go to surrounding villages where we have a performance of songs, dances and skit. After performing, we will preach the gospel and have a time of praying for the sick.
We have seen incredible fruit so far in the village ministry! Often times we go to villages that the local pastors cannot reach due to Hindu resistance, but because we are foreigners they are open to our show and many hear the gospel and respond!
Here are the numbers from our time:
- Gospel shared: over 1000
- Salvations: 724
- Healings: over 75
- E-bibles distributed: 32
One of the evenings we were going to homes to invite people to a performance we were having. At one home a woman, who was a believer, had diabetes and it caused blindness. She could partly see farsighted but she could not see nearsighted. After our team prayed for her, her eyes were completed healed! To the point where she read her bible in front of us! Thank you Jesus!
As well, at one night of ministry our team prayed for one of the local pastor's brother. He had an eye infection for over 5 years and had to take medication for it. After we prayed, it seemed as though nothing had happened. But the next day he went to the doctor for a check up on his eye and the doctors told him that he was completely healed! They couldn't find a trace of the infection and immediately took him of the medication! Thank you Lord!
Thank you for carrying myself and our team in prayer! I know that because of your prayers we have been able to see the Lord's kingdom advanced in greater ways! I am reminded of Jesus' words in John 4:36 - "...that sower and reaper rejoice together." As you sow in prayers know that what we reap, we reap together!
