Exploring Christianity’s Ten Toughest Questions Begins May 5

On Sunday evenings at 5:30 p.m. in the chapel you are invited to join in the discussions of some of the tough questions Christians are sometimes asked. Class begins Sunday, May 5 and those who attend the first class will help decide on the order of the questions. We want to discuss those questions that are of the highest interest first, one question per week.  

Each question is addressed by two different people with two very different opinions via video and moderated by Lee Strobel. Following the video presentations the class will have opportunity to discuss further. Strobel is the author of The Case for Faith The Case for Christ, and The Case for a Creator. 

The questions are:

1. 1.      Is the Supernatural Real?
2. 2.      Is Jesus a prophet or the Son of God?
3. 3.      Did Jesus Rise from the Dead?
4. 4.      Do all roads lead to God?
5. 5.      Is the Bible bogus?
6. 6.      Does science point toward a Creator?
7. 7.      Is anything beyond forgiveness?
8. 8.      Why does God allow pain and suffering?
9. 9.      How is God “one in three,” the Trinity?

10.  Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God? 

Exploring Christianity’s Ten Toughest Questions by Lee Strobel and Garry Poole is a participant guide book to accompany the video presentations. Each book is $8.00. Those who attend the class do not have to have a book but the books can be helpful and must ordered.
